Program Overview

The Beaverstone Inc Rental Application SMS Program provides transactional text messages related to your rental application, account security, and tenancy. This program is operated by Beaverstone Inc, Apple Valley, CA.

Consent to Receive SMS Messages

By providing your mobile phone number to Beaverstone Inc and submitting your rental application or creating an account, you expressly consent to receive SMS text messages from us at the phone number you provided. This consent is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Your consent is subject to these SMS Terms as well as our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Types of Messages You May Receive

We may send you the following types of SMS messages:

  • Verification Codes: One-time passwords (OTP) for account verification and two-factor authentication (2FA)
  • Application Updates: Status updates about your rental application (e.g., “Application Received,” “Application Approved/Denied”)
  • Security Alerts: Notifications about account security events or suspicious activity
  • Appointment Reminders: Reminders for property viewings or lease signing appointments
  • Important Notices: Time-sensitive information related to your application or tenancy

We will never send marketing or promotional messages via SMS unless you separately and explicitly opt in to such communications.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your account activity and application status. You may receive:

  • Verification codes as needed for login and account security (typically 1-3 messages per login session)
  • Application status updates (typically 2-5 messages during the application process)
  • Security alerts as needed (rare, only when unusual activity is detected)

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard text messaging rates from your wireless carrier will apply to all SMS messages sent and received. Beaverstone Inc does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard rates apply. Please contact your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan.

How to Opt-Out (Stop Messages)

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by:

  • Text “STOP”: Reply with the word STOP to any SMS message from us
  • Text “UNSUBSCRIBE”: Reply with UNSUBSCRIBE to opt out
  • Account Settings: Update your communication preferences in your account settings
  • Contact Us: Email support@beaverstoneinc.com to request removal

After you send STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message. After that, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you opt back in.

Important: If you opt out of SMS messages, you may not be able to use certain features that require SMS verification, such as two-factor authentication. This may limit your ability to access your account securely.

Supported Carriers

Our SMS service is available for the following mobile carriers:

AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Cricket, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, Virgin Mobile, and other major carriers. Service may not be available on all carriers or in all areas.

Carrier Liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission from your carrier.

Privacy and Data Security

We respect your privacy. Your phone number and message history are protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We use Telnyx, a trusted third-party SMS service provider, to deliver messages. Your phone number is shared with Telnyx solely for the purpose of sending messages. Your information will not be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Disclaimer and Limitations

While we strive to deliver all messages promptly and accurately:

  • We are not liable for delays or failures in message delivery caused by your mobile carrier, network issues, or forces beyond our control
  • We are not responsible for charges from your mobile carrier
  • Message delivery times may vary based on carrier and network conditions
  • You are responsible for maintaining accurate phone number information in your account
  • T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages

Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued consent to receive SMS messages after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
